Hyperic HQ project is a distributed infrastructure management system whose architecture assures scalability, while keeping the solution easy to deploy.
HQ's design is meant to deliver on the promise of a single integrated management portal capable of managing unlimited types of technologies in environments that range from small business IT departments to the operations groups of today's largest financial and industrial organizations.
· This release marks major performance improvements and more efficient resource browsing.
· Enhancements include a significant improvement in UI page load times (most notably when using Browse Resources or viewing groups), improved auto-discovery and monitoring of Sybase, and initial support for monitoring mod_jk.
