WebLOAD Open Source is a commercial-grade load and stress testing tool that is sponsored by RadView. The project can load-test any Internet application, including applications that use Web 2.0 and AJAX.

WebLOAD Open Source beta 8.0.5.018 contains some bug fixes over the previous build
(8.0.5.016). We are providing WL OSS in three forms:
1. WL OSS Installation kit - will install the full product of WebLOAD Open Source.
2. WL OSS Load Engine Installation kit - will install only the WebLOAD Load Generator
Engine.
3. Sources - at this time, sources are available for the WebLOAD Load Generator Engine
only. ··Important Notice·· We have encountered a temporary problem that
prevents compilation of the source code.
We are working to fix this issue and expect to release a new version of the source code soon.

This build is accompanied with documentation in PDF format only. This documentation is not
part of the WebLOAD Open Source installation kit, but can be downloaded separately form
www.webload.org. Additional on-line help (in CHM format) alongside context sensitive help
will be provided as part of one of the coming builds.
Fixed issues in this build:
This build handles mainly the "open connection failed" problem that was reported at the
WebLOAD User Forum recently. We are not sure this problem is 100% solved yet, but we
managed to fix a few problems in areas surrounding it, mainly
· Closing all sockets when finishing using them for better operating-system resource
utilization.
· Adding a second, enhanced retry mechanism to handle cases of failed connections.
