Описание программы aTypeTrainer4Mac

aTypeTrainer4Mac is a multilingual typing tutor for Mac OS X. It is an advanced version of TypeTrainer4Mac.
You have to type a string of random characters. You may select a character set and in this way you will be able to control the learning process. You can also connect a text file of your choice or one prepared yourself as an RTF file. Each session provides its own run log. You can find it on your desktop in the file aTypeTrainer4Mac_Run_Log.rtf.

· For non registered copies, each session will be interrupted with a reminder for 20 seconds each 3 minutes.

Note: aTypeTrainer4Mac is currently released in beta form. During beta-testing stage, you can receive for free a KEY file that will remove the annoying reminder by sending an e-mail to the developer.

· Mac OS X 10.3 or newer. (For Eastern languages — Mac OS X 10.4 or newer)
· European (ISO), American (ANSI) or Japanese (JIS) Apple keyboard. Keyboards of other types may not be fully functional.
· aTypeTrainer4Mac is not compatible with Jack server and WindowShade X.
· If you want aTypeTrainer4Mac to work properly, you should deactivate these applications when running aTypeTrainer4Mac.

· Extended statistics are added to the run log. After each part of the training and additionally at the end of the session, the following values will be output:
· totally typed characters
· wrongly typed characters
· typing time
· average speed
(This feature is available only for registered versions!)
· When selecting keys in the Select-Mode, you can additionally select keys using a keyboard. In earlier versions the key selection was possible only using a mouse.
(This option is not available for Mac OS X 10.3.x!)
· When typing with the closed drawer, the drawer will be automatically opened after a double mistake
· When typing with the opened drawer, the drawer will be automatically closed after appearing of the smiley
· Some minor improvements
