Loop is a program that lets you rename several files with sequential names (the result you generally get with a digital camera) and give them a friendlier name that the classic DSCxxxx.jpg.
Its major interest is that it lets you classify your photos on the spot and on the fly. Everything worked well during my test: the program recognizes .JPG files and renames them as you wish. By default, it suggests Photo1.jpg, Photo2.jpg, etc.
We already have AndyRenamer in our database and Loop does exactly the same thing. The basic difference is that it is programmed in Visual Basic instead of .NET.
That means that the owners of WM2003 machines will need to install the runtimes in RAM, which is not a strong point in its favor. On the other hand, if you have an ancient machine running PPC2002 and you want to dispense with the .NET Compact Framework, Loop is made for you.
