A.M.S. differs from other monitoring packages, in that it can be configured to STOP users performing activities you have chosen.
A.M.S. can suspend users access automatically.
A.M.S. can be deployed over a network easily to allow centralised log viewing via one central networked PC.
No physical presence is needed to monitor computers. Now network administrators can monitor large networks from one convenient, secure location.
A.M.S. can be used in businesses and schools to monitor the use of their computers.
A.M.S. consists of software that resides on a single secure computer on the network with a small monitoring program residing on each of the computers on the network that you wish to monitor.
A.M.S. is completely configurable to allow the monitoring and blocking of events most relevent to your network and requirements.
A.M.S. 's two main areas of configuration are as follows:-
- Filtered Events - events are added to be filtered out of the reporting screen for ease of viewing.
- Flagged Events - events that you do not want your users to access.
Weighting or 'penalties' can be set for each type of event. This allows the network administrator to vary the 'seriousness' of the breach if required.
A.M.S. can be configured to report violations or to control users' access to the network by suspending their account automatically if they breach the allowances set by the network administrator.
