Traceroute-Express tiny offers a powerful mechanism to see the network and pinpoint the problem from your workstation - allowing network professionals fast and easy access to routing and performance information on their networks.
Traceroute-Express tiny is a lightweight network troubleshooting, diagnostic and monitoring software. It can run in the background collecting data while you continue to run applications and then allow you to quickly look at the data in an intuitive graphical format when you experience problems (reduced call quality for VoIP, slowdowns or disconnects with applications, etc.).
Traceroute-Express tiny is also great at allowing you to collect data over time to give you the information you really need to identify intermittent problems and allowing you to see both short-term and long-term trends.
Traceroute-Express tiny allows you to "See the network", and "Pinpoint problems" by taking traceroute, ping, location lookup and whois to a new level. It's fast, and the graphical aspects make it easy to quickly see where a problem is occuring. Statistics, and numerous other features give the you the extra power you need to find and troubleshoot problems.

Easy to use
· Easy to use! Traceroute-Express's basic mode means you just type in the address you want information about and hit "Trace". It starts tracing and shows you a graph. Someone with no network experience can see where their packets are being dropped, and then contact their ISP with this information.
High performance
· Traceroute-Express doesn't wait for hop 1 to respond before sending out a request to hop 2. A complete 1 sample trace can be done in about 5-10% of the time it takes to do a trace with the Windows "TRACERT" command (usually less than 1 second for Traceroute-Express vs 15-45 seconds for Tracert).
Play-out algorithm simulation
· We study the delay characteristics of voice packets that share a transmission medium with bursty data traffic. In order to model the data traffic accurately, we used real data traffic traces upon which we superimposed simulated voice sources generating real time traffic at a constant rate. Our simulation environment allows us to easily develop and compare different adaptive algorithms for the play-out delay of voice streams. We motivate and compare the performance of algorithms based on exponential smoothing techniques.
E-Model & MOS
· Calculate MOS score. Delivered E-Mode, Applying E-model on Ie gives the R factor whose value ranges from 0 to 100 (100 is the best, 0 is the worst). R factor mapping to MOS values is shown at the end. The Ie factor incorporates the effects of codec, jitter, packet loss, packet loss distribution, and recency. The preferred place to passively monitor for these values is the VOIP codec. Here you know the codec type, jitter buffer size, and post-jitter buffer packet loss events. Traceroute-Express is supported 12 codec types(G.711,G.711 PLC,G.723.1 5.3k,G.723.1 6.3k,G.726 16k,G.726 24k,G.726 32k,G.726 40k,G.728 16k,G.729,G.729A,GSM FR (6.10)) and play-out algorithm and etc.
